In the West Virginia town of Rivesville, the giant rusting structure of a decommissioned coal-fired power plant casts a long shadow.

The power station was once one of the largest in America before it was shut down around a decade ago to comply with environmental regulations. Former workers have either found jobs in other industries, or moved away.
