Prominent Jewish Australians including Paul Bassat and Mark Leibler have condemned a pro-Palestinian campaign to boycott local retailers linked to Israel, including Spotlight and Chemist Warehouse.

A social media campaign driven by the Stand For Palestine movement has targeted the Spotlight Group, which includes brands Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe, which was founded by brothers Morry Fraid and Reuben Fried, whose parents migrated from Israel.
