Westfield billionaire Frank Lowy and prominent Melbourne lawyer Mark Leibler have been awarded Israel’s highest civilian honour for their commitment to Israel and support of Jewish communities in Australia.

The pair are the first Australians to be awarded the Presidential Medal of Honour, and were named by Israeli President Isaac Herzog among a group of eight international supporters of Israel.
