‘Ask that question again’: Dutton’s fiery clash with ABC reporter
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has accused the ABC of failing to support the government’s definition of terrorism, after a heated exchange where he said the national broadcaster is “in greater trouble than I had imagined”.
The ABC journalist, whom The Australian Financial Review has chosen not to name, said some were calling the listing of Hezbollah as a terrorist group “hypocritical” given Israel has killed more than 40,000 people in Gaza since the October 7 attack by Hamas, where 1200 people were killed and hundreds taken hostage in Israel.
