It's not the black plague. It's not Soviet Russia. It's not 28 Days Later. It's not Wuhan. These all had something in common: they were happening somewhere else. But this is happening here.

The only resemblance to the black plague is the strange, discomforting lengths to which people will go just to avoid each other, to keep the six-foot social distance.
