The bitter, long-running feud in Singapore’s most prestigious family that erupted publicly again this week has taken an even stranger twist, with the estranged brother of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong hitting back.

Singapore, which prides itself on order and decorum, was again gripped by the open rift after the prime minister’s brother, Lee Hsien Yang, and his wife, were called liars and absconders in parliament.
