Singapore | Singapore’s reputation as an Asian business hub that is relatively safe from the threat of COVID-19 hangs on the next two weeks, as the government imposes a partial lockdown and ramps up vaccinations it hopes will stop an outbreak escalating.

Singapore’s Education Minister Chan Chun Sing said on Sunday the government would start vaccinating children younger than 16. Pupils at seven schools will go back to home learning after 10 children tested positive.
