Union refusal vetoes Noni B agreement

The Fair Work Commission has thrown out Noni B's new enterprise agreement because the retail union refused to sign it, despite a majority of workers voting for the deal.
Commissioner Ian Cambridge on Tuesday upheld union arguments that the fashion giant's agreement, covering 5500 workers, was invalid because it was not signed by an employee representative and refused to allow a late signatory.
