Union officials appointed to steer Fair Work under Labor laws

The Albanese government has appointed four more union-aligned officials to the workplace tribunal on the eve of the federal election, bringing the number of union or Labor-linked members to 21.

The new Fair Work Commission appointments, announced on Monday, are part of Labor’s plans to unwind the Coalition’s stacking of the commission with employer-aligned commission members during its term of government.
