Union ceasefire over waterfront strike

Wharfies' industrial action at major stevedores is set to cause further delays to supplies at Port Botany despite the union pulling all their work bans at DP World ahead of legal action.
The Maritime Union of Australia delivered an eleventh-hour undertaking to DP World on Saturday to suspend its work bans and go-slows for six weeks ahead of a Fair Work Commission hearing to end them due to significant damage to the economy.
