TWU stands down Victorian boss over misconduct claims

The Victorian head of the Transport Workers Union and influential player in the state’s Labor Right faction has been stood down over claims of harassing behaviour.

Union sources confirmed to AFR Weekend that Mem Suleyman appeared on Friday before the TWU’s branch committee of management, which stood him down pending an investigation.
