‘Right time’: Fair Work chief resigns

The head of the Fair Work Commission has resigned after more than a decade in the position, leaving the path open to a new successor.
Justice Iain Ross, who does not face the mandatory retirement age until 2024, notified staff on Monday that he was stepping down as president effective November 18 because it was “the right time”.
