Public sector agrees to uncapped WFH days

The Commonwealth public service has agreed to some of the most generous work from home rights in the country as part of a broader deal with the union to improve mobility, with no caps on WFH days, a bias towards approving requests and rights to appeal refusals.

The Community and Public Sector Union announced the win on flexible work on Tuesday as part of its bargaining with the Australian Public Service Commission for a framework agreement to cover 174,000 bureaucrats across 103 agencies.
