To mark International Women’s Day, The Australian Financial Review has again created a list of Women to Watch across five key sectors - and asked them for their advice and how they made it.
One of Australia’s top female business leaders was given a useful piece of advice early in her career: run to the problem.
At the time, Sarah Rennie, co-chief executive of Jarden, an investment and advisory group, was working at Goldman Sachs. The advice came from the leadership team at the pre-eminent Wall Street investment bank and the ethos formed part of the firm’s culture.
