Laws to stop bosses discriminating against domestic violence victims
The Albanese government will seek to stop employers acting against victims of domestic violence, such as through reduced hours or demotions, in the next round of industrial relations reform.
Workplace Relations Minister Tony Burke announced on Thursday that he would introduce laws into parliament next month to explicitly protect workers who experienced domestic violence from discrimination or adverse action.
