Float hopeful Rokt, which has previously denied allegations of gender discrimination, has the largest gender pay gap of Australia’s most valuable technology companies, while male-dominated software engineering and sales teams worsened the pay divide across the local sector.
Figures published by the government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency show the male employees at Rokt receive a base salary 34.9 per cent higher than their female counterparts at the median. Once bonuses, overtime and other non-financial benefits were included, the pay gap blew out to 52.4 per cent.
