How UK gender pay gap data helped drive change

The gender pay gap in large UK workplaces began to narrow after employers with more than 250 employees were forced to publish salary disparities from 2017, raising hopes the same change can happen in Australia.
On Tuesday, the federal government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency will publish median gender pay gaps for base and total salaries for Australian businesses with more than 100 people.
