Ex-CFMEU officials delay corruption case until after High Court ruling
A Sydney court has allowed former CFMEU leaders Darren and Michael Greenfield to delay their bribery case until after a High Court challenge to the union’s administration, dragging out the four-year case.
The father and son had been scheduled to make a plea and be committed to trial on Tuesday on charges of accepting bribes from an employer, after failing to enter a plea in August and December. The charges were laid in 2021.
