Dustin Martin’s ex-bikie uncle faces deportation in CFMEU crackdown

David Marin-Guzman

CFMEU delegate and former bikie leader Dean Martin faces deportation back to New Zealand as the Albanese government responds to reports of underworld infiltration in the construction industry.

Industry and government sources confirmed to The Australian Financial Review that Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil cancelled Martin’s visa on character grounds over the past week, and he must now leave or be deported. He was placed in immigration detention on Tuesday pending voluntary removal or deportation.
