Commuter chaos as Sydney Trains shut in response to rail worker action

Sydney’s commuters are in chaos after the NSW government shut down the train network in response to rail workers’ industrial action, with the dispute heading to the Fair Work Commission.
The Rail Tram and Bus Union had been set to continue low-level industrial action on Monday for two weeks by banning “altered working”, meaning that they only would perform the shifts they are set without any changes.
