Building union turns to actors’ rep to try to reverse exodus

The CFMEU administration has appointed the former head of the actors’ union to its second-biggest construction branch to help turn around a dramatic decline in membership.

Michael Crosby, a renowned expert in union organising, will take over as the main executive director of the CFMEU NSW after industrial lawyer Phil Pasfield resigned as joint head of the branch and his co-director Chris Christodoulou steps back into a deputy role.
