Boss ordered to pay $10,000 for buttock-slapping harassment

A female staffer who was repeatedly slapped on the buttocks by her boss at work has been awarded $10,000 in damages.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal ordered former line manager Billy Cheung to pay the money after finding he had sexually harassed the woman throughout her six-month stint at the now collapsed Gumboots Australia Pty Ltd, including by tickling her, giving her an unwelcome massage and telling her “your bottom so skinny”.
