ABCC to keep launching new prosecutions despite funding threat

The head of the building industry watchdog has said he will keep pursuing new investigations and legal action over unlawful union behaviour despite the Albanese government ridiculing the agency for pursuing trivial issues.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese slammed the Australian Building and Construction Commission on Wednesday for spending millions of dollars over disputes about union flags or female toilets, repeating that “all workers should be subject to the same laws”.
