Naureen Alam is one of the 2023 BOSS Young Executives of the Year. She was given valuable advice by her year 12 biology teacher. “Just do what you enjoy.”
In her last year at secondary school, Naureen Alam, a renewable energy executive at AGL Energy, was still tossing up whether to become a lawyer or a scientist.
Alam, who is today named one of the six BOSS Young Executives for 2023, was good at both science and humanities subjects. She liked the challenge of the former but found the latter came to her more naturally.
