What I learnt at Harvard: women leaders sharpen their skills

Recipients of the Maureen Kerridge AM Scholarship, offered by Chief Executive Women, are learning invaluable leadership skills at universities abroad.

Lauren Joyce says some of the best leadership lessons she learnt during long hours in a Harvard lab came from watching the teachers review each others’ performance in class.

“One of the things they do is record themselves, and then they sit down in their teaching faculty and review each other. How do we improve the way we teach?” said Joyce, who is now the chief audience and content officer at broadcaster ARN Media.
