Anthony Pratt's packaging giant Visy has retained its place atop IBISWorld's Top 500 Private Companies list for the ninth consecutive year, however Gina Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting is catching up, while a 103-year-old medical researcher recorded the biggest revenue gain of all.
Visy's $6.7 billion revenue in 2017-18 represented 3.1 per cent growth, exactly in line with Australia's economic growth for the year to June.
