When BOSS trounced out to the back blocks of Melbourne’s inner-city suburb of Richmond in 2020 to meet Pro Medicus founders and future billionaires Sam Hupert and Anthony Hall, their office had more in common with a suburban accountant than the headquarters for a $14 billion, ASX 100 med-tech giant.
But Hupert and Hall – then worth around $500 million each but now worth closer to $4 billion each – pride themselves on their modest office. They are still in those same digs, opposite the gritty Rising Sun Hotel on Swan Street, Richmond.
