Prominent Perth-based director and former WA Treasurer Ben Wyatt predicts many Australian companies will publicly back the Indigenous Voice to parliament referendum, despite a dearth of companies coming forward so far.

“All the organisations on whose boards I sit are considering this issue,” says Wyatt, who is a director of mining behemoth Rio Tinto oil and gas company Woodside, Australian Rules Football team West Coast Eagles and human services provider APM. “Most have, and will, take a position and advise their employees, suppliers and stakeholders.
