Developing an app for engineers while still a student at university helped Emily Gerrard win The Australian Financial Review Top 100 Graduate Employers 2021 award for engineering.

Her app allows engineers to quickly calculate metrics such as wind force on the superstructure of a bridge and attracted judges’ attention because it is less susceptible to data corruption than the spreadsheets that are typically used across the industry.
