Teachers demand the return of face-to-face schooling

Teachers are calling for a return to face-to-face, on-campus schooling, saying the remote learning model is unsustainable, children are fading without the social interaction and concerns about wellbeing are starting to compound.

“Students have adapted incredibly well this term. However, it is becoming increasingly challenging as the weeks go on for both students and staff to maintain high levels of engagement,” Eunice Chung Lee, head of school operations at Australian Performing Arts Grammar School, says.
