La Trobe University hit with second underpayments claim

La Trobe University has admitted to underpaying casual academics $2.5 million related to the marking of exams and assessments, responding to its second underpayments claim in two months.
The most recent claim from the academics’ union argues there has been systemic wage theft and “pervasive breaches of the university’s record-keeping obligations” under the Fair Work act.
