Early NAPLAN gives more time to help struggling students

School teachers will have an additional eight weeks to put in place individualised remedial lessons for students who are struggling with their literacy and numeracy after national testing begins later this week.
An estimated 1.3 million students in years 3, 5, 7 and 9 will start to sit the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) on Wednesday.
