Universities in South Australia and NSW are progressing with plans for the return of international students, saying the COVID-19 crisis gripping the nation will not interrupt their preparations.

With the first chartered flights expected within the next two months, the international student sector is hoping the current wave of COVID-19 infections will not impede the return of students or stoke ill-feeling towards them from the community.
