Only one in four Australians feel confident that they can have a discussion about their longer-term career with their manager, even though this can have a big impact on employee productivity and engagement, a new international study has found.

The research based on a survey of 4400 people found that two-thirds of individual performance drivers can be tied to effective, continuing career conversations.
