With Baby Boomers making up the membership of half the 603,000-plus self-managed superannuation funds and their 1.13 million members, those aged 58-76 are among the most active when it comes to super questions put to experts this year.

It would be safe to say that as a generation, Baby Boomers have the most money in super because they have had it for a large part of their working lives, says Craig Day, head of technical services at Colonial First State.
