Retirement spending is a bit of a maze to wind yourself through, but having confidence is key to living a life with lower financial anxiety. Simon Letch

The fear of running out of money – known as longevity risk – or experiencing a market crash in the first few years of retirement – sequencing risk – are persistent anxieties among would-be retirees.

But there are other, less obvious risks, too. Take, for example, the growing incidence of grey divorce. Splitting the family home, superannuation and other assets can significantly erode the financial security of both parties.
