The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), the branch of the Australian Signals Directorate cyber spy agency which coordinates the nation’s response to cybercrime, received more than 76,000 crime reports in its most recent reporting period: a shade more than one report every seven minutes. But that’s just the crimes that get reported.
