The sharemarket is not always a perfect barometer, but it has delivered judgment on how the biggest US tech stars are selling their artificial intelligence prowess this earnings season – and Amazon was the clear winner.

Alphabet (Google), Meta (Facebook), Apple, Microsoft and Amazon all tried to address growing market tedium about the potential for AI to change everything, and only Amazon on Friday morning (AEDT) nailed it.
