Samsung looks set to follow Apple into the outdoors adventure business by announcing a smartwatch that will match Apple’s Watch Ultra for ruggedness, battery-life improvements, and possibly even its name.

At a Wednesday launch event in Paris that’s shaping up to be Samsung’s biggest of the year, the world’s number one phone maker is expected to announce that it’s bringing AI enhancements to its folding phones similar to those it previously brought to its non-folding phones, as well possible changes to the size and shape of its biggest phone, the Galaxy Fold.
