Under-the-radar Melbourne software firm worth $90m after VCs pounce
Atticus, a Melbourne tech firm that has been using smart software to help lawyers and other professionals in listed companies fact-check critical documents such as IPO prospectuses, public announcements and annual reports, has attracted big-name Aussie investors Blackbird Ventures and Skip Capital for its first-ever capital raise.
The company has raised $10.8 million in a funding round that values the company between $80 and $90 million, having previously been self-funded since it launched in 2017, well before ChatGPT and the generative AI boom.
