Trajan makes ninth acquisition, pays $26.5m

Analytical science and devices company Trajan has bought German software business Axel Semrau for €17 million ($26.5 million), marking its ninth acquisition and doubling down on its plans to expand its automated workflows across Europe.

Shares in Trajan jumped 8 per cent on the news on Friday, bringing the Melbourne-based company’s market capitalisation to $454.7 million, a 48 per cent climb since listing in June.
