Trajan IPO climbs in ASX debut

The listing of analytical science and devices company Trajan Group has made the founders very wealthy with their near 60 per cent stake valued at over $150 million as the share price climbed on its ASX debut.

Its market capitalisation ballooned to $256 million after the first day of trading on Monday. The stock’s open price was $1.86 and went as high as $2.05 before settling the day at $1.98 – a 16.5 per cent gain. The group’s free float stood at 38.87 per cent of its shares.
