The co-founder of Envato, a Melbourne-based seller of digital assets worth more than $1 billion on some measures, will step down as chief executive at the end of 2020 after announcing a record profit share for its 600 employees.
Collis Ta'eed started Envato 14 years ago with wife Cyan in a Bondi garage, initially selling only products related to Adobe Flash.
