Construction start-up lands mega $105m deal

Australian construction industry software maker HammerTech has sealed a $105 million investment from Californian private equity firm Riverwood Capital, as it looks to expand its US and European operations.

HammerTech is the first Australian company to be backed by Riverwood Capital, a Menlo Park-based private equity player which last year closed a $US1.8 billion fund to back high-growth technology companies.
