NextDC raises $750m for Asia land grab, racing AirTrunk

Data centre owner and operator NextDC is cashing in on the exuberance for digital infrastructure sparked by the sale of AirTrunk to Blackstone, tapping investors for $750 million to fund NextDC’s expansion into Asia.
AirTrunk’s success in the region – where it operates data centres in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong – helped propel the company to a $24 billion valuation based on last week’s deal.
