Menulog, the food delivery platform known for its celebrity-studded ads, will close its Australian operations at the end of November after tough competition from global giants Uber Eats and DoorDash saw its market share dwindle.
Menulog was founded in Australia in 2006 as a digital marketplace that paired local restaurants with delivery drivers. It was once Australia’s largest online food ordering platform, but had posted losses exceeding $400 million since 2022.
