KKR’s Alludo strikes again with higher bid for Nitro

KKR-owned Canadian software company Alludo has struck again in the duel for local Adobe Acrobat competitor Nitro, gazumping private equity firm Potentia Capital’s upgraded offer.
The takeover target has been in play since August, when Potentia signalled its interest in the company and the Nitro board rejected its unsolicited $1.58-a-share proposal.
