Last week, homegrown data centre giant AirTrunk was sold to the largest private equity firm in the world, Blackstone for $24 billion.
It was the biggest deal in Australia this year. And on Tuesday, founder Robin Khuda had a simple explanation for why his nine-year old business is the country’s latest knockout success story. Speaking in front of a packed room at the AFR Property summit he said it was a reflection of the way the world is moving.
