How Aussies won the first AI Eurovision song contest

Team Australia took out an inaugural international competition to write a Eurovision banger using artificial intelligence by training algorithms on past Eurovision songs and the sounds of Australian wildlife like kookaburras and Tasmanian Devils.

The track was co-produced by a team of composers, data scientists, and technologists, who said they were inspired by nature's recovery from the bushfires that devastated Australia across the summer of 2019-20.
