The majority of employees at Hiro Brands, the cosmetic and personal care group backed by BRC Capital, will lose their jobs after the company called in administrators.

Hiro is one of 10 companies in the BRC Capital portfolio that has collapsed in less than two months, raising questions about the firm, a major sponsor of the Melbourne Rebels rugby union team. BRC Capital has investments in technology and real estate.
